Quality of our services

Dafra Design commits itself to make all possible efforts in order to offer you a quality service at an excellent quality/price ratio. Deadlines Deadlines are established on the base of the actual amount of work in progress. Normally 7 days are requested to plan the opening of a new project. The deadlines can be negotiated for a quicker answer and may be subject to a rate readjustment. File sharing For a more efficient treatment, all file sharing are done by email. To avoid any handling mistakes, all text files must be saved in Word documents.

Support and consultation

Support and consultation can be done by phone, email or in person. These services are obviously free of charge when they concern a project in development, with a minimum of care for the duration needed for this service. A possible extra charge could be necessary for consultations exceeding 30 minutes.

Any service request out of the original agreement is subject to an extra charge; and only if this new service is possible to process inside the deadlines.

Estimation and evaluation

A quick estimation or evaluation (by email or by phone) - which means in less then 15 minutes - is offered for free. If this service is needed for more then fifteen minutes, some charges will be billed if the contract is not accepted.

Dafra Design provides an evaluation as estimation. It only gives a rough idea of the total costs. A raise in the rate will very obviously be charged if the work needed for the realisation is greater.

Pricing

Pricing of a project can differ according to the importance of the project, its duration, its complexity, the deadline requested for its completion and especially, according to your budget.

Terms of payment

The term of payment, as asked and requested, is a payment in full at the moment of approval of the final product or on reception of the invoice.

For a website conception, half the full amount is requested on approval of the graphic and HTML of the project. The final amount has to be paid in full when the site is set online.

For any service estimated over 500$, a 50% deposit is needed. Special agreements will be set in the eventuality of a very large project.

Any amount not paid in full in the delay we agreed on will be subject to an extra 10$/month as administration charges, whatever the total amount of this bill; and a monthly interest rate of 2% will be added as well.

Payment

The accepted methods of payment are the following:

    • Cash
    • PayPal
    • Bank transfer payment

Billing

Invoices will be sent to customer by email, in pdf document. The customer will have to make sure by his own ways that he received the invoice in the following days after the request for service.

Therefore, it is crucial that you have in hand the invoice in order to make your payments in the delay you accepted, since an invoice claimed as 'not received' will be subject to the 'Terms of payment' without further notice.

Guaranty of service

The guaranty varies according to the requested service. The service assignments apply for the website creations, illustrations, conception of CD or book covers, logos, posters and any other visual conceptions.

Following the final date of delivery on a project, a guaranty of 7 days is covering all service assignments. For all requests regarding changes or corrections done after this period, for any work, problem or mistake involving our services or not, a charge will apply at the regular rates.

No reimbursement is possible on service assignments.

Rights on material acquired by our services

The material acquired by our services - for example: a website, a poster, an animation or a graphic design - are the sole property of the customer, as long as the invoice is paid in full.

Dafra Design keeps the right, as the author (and for the sole use of publicising Dafra Design), to publish, post, present and include, in any form of publicity, the name and material designed for a customer, as a listing of our realisations.

The logo and/or the name Dafra Design - in any realisation such as: poster, leaflet, brochure, animation, visual presentation, including a note about the realisation - are always inserted at the bottom of at least one section of a website we realized.
